Business
Expansion Awards
In 1995, a program was
developed to give a special day of
recognition to local businesses we have worked with that have made the
decision to reinvest in their community through building and equipment
expansions. This award acknowledges that much of new job
growth comes from companies that have long made Fort Wayne their
home, and many of those are small businesses. Click 2003
to see photos from the February 5 Business Expansion Awards Breakfast (pdf
form).
Century
and Half-Century Awards
In partnership with the
Indiana Department of Commerce, this award recognizes the
long-term achievements of Indiana companies. Business that have
remained viable companies for 50 years or longer with a solid record of
community service are eligible. These awards are a tribute to Indiana's
well established companies and their outstanding contributions to the
economic growth and prosperity of the state. Please contact us if
you know of a company in the Fort Wayne community that may qualify.
